In Memory of Lakewood Police Department’s Fallen Officers: Sergeant Mark Renninger , Officer Ronald Owens, Officer Tina Griswold, and Officer Greg Richards. These fallen officers were ambushed and murdered while meeting for coffee just prior to the beginning of their shift. Twenty thousand attended the memorial service honoring all four officers – mostly law enforcement officers from all over the country, including Canada. Two thousand emergency vehicles participated in the processional that led to the service at Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington. The song in the video, Over The Rainbow, sung by the late Eva Cassidy. Remembering their own... Lakewood officers inside the Forza Coffee on Steele, looking at photos of Sgt. Mark Renninger, Ofc. Ronald Owens, Ofc. Tina Griswold and Ofc. Greg Richards. The coffee house at 11401 Steele Street South, Tacoma, WA was closed after the tragic ambush of four Lakewood Police officers on Nov. 29 at 8:14 a.m. The police officers and families of the four heroic officers expressed their desire to reopen to demonstrate that hate will not win.
